Executive Director Lara Arnaiz A native of the Antelope Valley, Ms. Arnaiz received her early training in classical ballet, jazz dance, and tap dance. She began teaching at the age of 15 and continued her dance studies in Los Angeles with Sallie Whallen, Stanley Holden, and Lawrence Rosenberg. The owner of Extensions Performing Arts Academy in Lancaster, Ms. Arnaiz has become an award winning choreographer and teacher of over 250 students. She has remained a very active member of the arts community in the Antelope Valley, having appeared in numerous Antelope Valley College Theatre productions, including Hair, West Side Story, and Cabaret. She has choreographed for the acclaimed Antelope Valley Mall Theatre Productions of Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera in addition to her long time affiliation with Dance Dimensions, where her works such as Natural Man/Woman and 319 have been noted as being bold and experimental, if not controversial.
